A cornerstone of the community continues to be the Archerwill School educating children from Kindergarten through Grade 9.

In 2018, the membership of the Archerwill Co-op decided to dissolve and sold off the assets to the Prairie North Co-op based in Melfort.  John Knudson and Greg Maslin serve as directors.  Archerwill has a Co-op grocery store, lumber/hardware/farm supply store, a gas station/convenience store/off sale and a fertilizer plant.

Archerwill continues to be served by Canada Post and owns the building in which the post office is located.

Other businesses include The Lodge of Archerwill and Cozy Country Inn for accomodations, Barrier Valley Agencies for insurance needs and Wilson's Car Wash.

Religious services are provided through St. Felix Roman Catholic Church and Bethany Lutheran Church.

Archerwill is served by a volunteer fire department.  There is a very active Seniors' Centre.  Archerwill Libary is a branch of Wapiti Regional Library.  The skating and curling rinks provide winter time activities, and the community continues to gather at the Archerwill Centennial Centre.

Archerwill has three parks for outdoor enjoyment.  The Centennial Gardens @ArchCenGardens was created following the provincial centenary celebrations in 2005.  It was built and continues to be maintained by volunteers.  HM Queen Elizabeth II Park @HMQE2Park is a children's park located on 3rd Avenue W.  It was named to honour Canada's Queen becoming our longest reigning monarch on September 9, 2015.  The Kohlen-Montes Skate Park located on 1st Avenue W is scheduled for needed upgrades.  Fundraising for this project continues.

The Archerwill Driftriders Snowmobile Club  and Echo Lake Archers  are active groups within the community for outdoor sporting pursuits. Archerwill continues to be known as a gateway to hunting and fishing with its proximity to Barrier Lake, Barrier River, George Williams Lake, Kipabiskau Lake, Marean Lake and Greenwater Provincial Park.
